In 2004 I decided to move to Cyprus from the
U.K. mainly for the warmer climate (340 days of
sunshine) together with the ease which I was able
to purchase property here.
There is a British type of Land Registry; the
legal system is in English and like the U.K. driving
is on the left hand side. In other words Cyprus
is home from home especially as we are now in
the E.U.
Although I moved to Cyprus on my own with my dog
(and his pet passport) I have found that life
here is wonderful with plenty to occupy my time
and a great social life.
Country Rose was my choice because of the excellence
of the development, the well designed stone houses
in many different models with proper roads, pavements
and street lighting together with public garden
areas for use by the residents of the development.
During the period that my house was being built
I was in the U.K. but I was pleased to receive
regular updates on the progress of my house, which
was ready for me to move in on the promised date.
The staff at Country Rose are all, without exception,
very friendly and extremely professional in the
way they look after the needs of their clients.
I have been living here in Cyprus for one year
and I can honestly say that I have never looked
back!
